The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Redemption Parish, has demonstrated that the unity of Nigeria is sacrosanct as it renders praises to God in Twelve Nigerian ethnic languages.
In a colorful event themed “12 Tribes of Israel” held at the church’s Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, attracted visitors from far and wide and saw parishioners adorn in traditional attires.
Speaking on the vision of the program, the pastor in charge of the parish, Pastor Mrs. Mary Ayepolabo said her vision is to praise God of all universe who understand all dialects and who kept us alive.
She further connected the event to the biblical twelve tribes of Israel where the twelve sons of Jacob forms the twelve tribes that signifies the traditional Israel nation.
While speaking about the unity of Nigeria, Ayepolabo advice Nigerians to unite together as one and allow the love of God that binds us together reign in our nation.
The program climaxed with the rendition of different praises in twelve different languages as the atmosphere became charged and soaked in the worship of God.
The tribes represented at the program includes; Ijebu, Ebira, Ondo, Delta, Hausa, Edo, Ibo, Ijesa, Igala also represented are tribes from Ghana, South Africa and the youth.
In the course of the program, the representative of the tribes taught how to cook their special dishes while traditional food were served to the parishioners and visitors alike.
